Not sure why so many people hate on Atmosphere. Emo rapper this, underground rapper that. Regardless of the labels, their fanbase is insanely huge(see picture above). I’ve been a fan since the days of Overcast! and always will. I still don’t know any rapper who has come out with such a huge library of material as Slug has (Tupac maybe?). Slug is one of my favorite lyricists and Ant’s production is always like a score to Slug’s storytelling. Cheers to Atmosphere for rockin for so long and another big ups to Slug for pushing out great music and artists through his Rhymesayers label.
