Friday night kicked off a weekend in Pomona with back to back shows at the Fox Theater. It got started with a band that I finally got to see after missing their surprise show at Detroit Bar in Newport and at this year’s Coachella Music Festival.

Miike Snow put on an amazing performance at the Fox. They took the audience through a visual and auditory trip with stunning lightshows, ethereal soundscapes, and lots and lots of fog (which made it difficult for my cam to take any good pics). 

Aside from all the kids and a drunk ass chick who kept tryin to ruin a good time, the show was really great and I’m glad the homey vince, the lady & I got to experience their live show.

Product Placement. This girl (I totally thought she was a dude) had a bootleg LRG plug in her ear. Turns out she reps a lot of the clothing too. I guess LRG isn’t just for men after all. The people have spoken. Instead of trying to come out with a separate women’s line, why don’t you just offer LRG for girls?

This painted van was pretty awesome. The pink elephant was on one end while it’s trunk squiggled all the way to the front of the van onto the other side of it where it wrapped around a funny looking green monster. Random..
