People passing by through Osaka Station City in Japan get to witness this beautifully executed man-made waterfall that prints images and text with spouting water.

WOW. If I had this as my alarm clock, I would always wake up on-time. But then still be late from the mesmerizing images. Fail me.

Japan Earthquake: Six Months Later

On a related note: my good friend Naga (paperctz.tumblr.com) designed a shirt to raise money for the people of Sendai, Japan, who are going through many hardships and difficulties after the devastating earthquake and tsunami. R U Reppin will donate $2,500 and $5 from the sale of every shirt to the City of Riverside Sendai Relief Fund.

Click here to find out more.

Thanks again to all of you that voted for my design. $2500 was donated to the relief fund and the shirt sales continue to help the cause!

WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING HERE? WHY CAN’T I LOOK AWAY?

uhhm…amazing?!?

In Japan, the 5th of May is nationally recognized as Children’s Day (also Boy’s Day). On this day, the people of Japan show their appreciation to the young folk by hanging Koinobori (Carp Streamers) and displaying the traditional Japanese military helmets.

I remember my parents doing this for my sister and I as kids. Now, we’re all growns up and all the cool carps, dolls and helmets are probably stored away in my parent’s garage that looks like an episode of Hoarders.

Big ups to the kids!

btw, ¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

Lend A Hand, Help Japan

The recent tragedies in Japan inspired me to create this design for a t-shirt contest.

This design is comprised of 16 different hands coming together as the sun’s rays to create Japan’s iconic military flag. 16 people came together to lend their hands in hopes to bring an awareness to help and rebuild the country of Japan.

If this design is picked as the winning design, R U Reppin will donate $2500 to charity.

I would appreciate if any of you reading this could also lend a hand by VOTING for my design. It would mean a lot to me as well as all of the people in Japan desperately trying to rebuild their lives.

A huge shout goes out to those offering their hand in this design: RyanH, GregO, DanielleG, AlexK, RiceS, KeithR, AmberF, AnthonyC, DannyH, JaniceR, AlbertR. ClaireP, VinceP, AndrewT, JonA.
